    New St George can't, though. Of course, it doesn't help that they are so far up themselves that they haven't seen daylight for years. There's SOME talent here (I think) but it's well hidden - and their songwriting talent is minimal, to say the least/5(4).

    High Tea. The New St. George was a folk-rock band in Washington, DC for about a decade, primarily doing live shows at folk festivals and other venues. In , they released their principal recorded work, High Tea, which featured a mix of traditional folk songs and modern works written in a fairly traditional folk song style.

CD $ 12 tracks, 46 mins, highly recommended The New St. George are a band based in Takoma Park, Maryland who perform traditional and contemporary English folk rock. Two of the members are ex-patriate Limey's - the band's leader Jennifer Cutting who plays melodeon and keyboards and did the arrangements .

    The New St. George. [Richard Thompson] This is a song by Richard Thompson from the period of Albion IV which was sung by Martin Carthy in Because the band broke up shortly after, the album was shelved and only issued in as Battle of the Field. The track was closed by the tune La Rotta.
